In terms of Notification F. No. 7/9/2011-RRB dated 02nd September 2013 issued by Govt. of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services , the erstwhile Chhattisgarh Gramin Bank(CGB),Surguja Kshetriya Gramin Bank(SKGB) and Durg Rajnandgaon Gramin Bank(DRGB) were amalgamated into one entity and Chhattisgarh Gramin Bank (Scheduled Bank Owned by Government), Chhattisgarh, was formed on 02-09-2013. CGB operates in the entire state of Chhattisgarh and has its Corporate office at Naya Raipur , Atal Nagar, Chhattisgarh.
Share Holding Pattern for Chhattisgarh Gramin bank is a follows Central Government – 50%, State Government – 15% Sponsor Bank(State Bank of India) – 35%.
